Miguel Garcia-Pereira

Miguel Garcia-Pereira is a Physiotherapist working in Luxembourg. He graduated in 2011 from the Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven (NL). In 2015 he presented his master thesis in the Haute Ecole de Namur-Liege-Luxembourg (BE) in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Miguel has working experience both in private practices and rehabilitation centres. In 2016 he opened his own clinic and has continued to strive to maintain the highest level of practice by investing in his professional development both in the Joints (Mulligan) and Fascial (Stecco) domains. His specific therapeutic interests are in sports trauma, orthopaedic manual treatment and myofascial pain management.
He is in constant contact with high-level performing sportspeople, having worked with an athletics club in the context of pre-season preparation, and also as a team Physio in a first division football club. He also monitors and advises in two martial arts clubs where he is the head physiotherapist.
In 2014 Miguel completed the full course of the DGSA in Dry Needling and since 2016 is an international instructor for the DGSA.
