Dr. Ricardo Ortega-Santiago, PT, PhD

Ricardo is a Professor of Physical Therapy at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain. He is a member of the the clinical research group of clinical pain sciences directed by César Fernández-de-las-Peñas. He completed his PhD in Physical Therapy at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, his main research interest is in clinical chronic pain and the effects of manual therapy and dry needling on pain, and he has published over 40 scientific papers on this topic. In addition, Ricardo has experience in private clinical practice with a focus on manual approaches for the management of chronic pain and myofascial pain syndrome.
