Dr. med. Stefan Diermayr

Fernando Colla received his medical training at the Universities of Zurich and Lausanne. In 1996 he opened his own practice after three years as a senior physician at the Cantonal Hospital, Winterthur and as the junior partner with Dr. Beat Dejung, MD, pioneer of the manual trigger point therapy in Switzerland. Dr. Colla is a rheumotologist with a physical therapy practice which focuses on trigger point therapy. He specializes in the diagnosis and therapy of inflammatory and degenerative rheumatism as well as chronic pain patients. In addition to various infiltration techniques, he also uses intramuscular Botulinum-A-Toxin injections. Since 1997 he has been teaching dry needling and manual trigger point therapy to physicians and physical therapists. He is co-author of the book “Trigger Point Therapy”.
