Philippe Froidevaux

Philippe Froidevaux is a certified physiotherapist since 1990 (Schaffhausen, Switzerland). Afterwards he worked for a year in his former occupation as a landscape gardener. Upon completing his studies, he worked for 10 years in several medical practices and physiotherapy institutes to gain experience. Since 2001, Philippe works in a rheumatology practice as the head of the physiotherapy department. His therapeutic focus is on acute and chronic pain patients as well as orthopedic injuries. 
In 2005, Philippe completed his in training in pain therapy ZST (Zurzacher Pain Therapist) (Bad Zurzach, Switzerland), which entails an interdisciplinary approach in pain management and in 2008 became a certified Trigger-Point-Therapist and Dry-Needling-Therapist. Since 2008, he teaches regularly courses in manual trigger point therapy and dry needling. Philippe incorporates various manual therapy approaches in his practice, such as the Kaltenborn/Evienth concept, influencing of pain through the nervous system, cranio-mandibular therapy, medical training therapy, and other myofascial approaches. In addition, since 2014 Philippe teaches pain management at the University of Applied Science in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Today, Philippe lives with his family in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. He enjoys outdoor activities and endurance sports.
