Manual Trigger Point Therapy Courses

The Most Important in a Nutshell

The manual trigger point therapy courses are intended for physiotherapists, medical doctors, chiropractors and osteopaths. We have been offering manual trigger point therapy courses since 1995. They have now become internationally known. The courses are very practical oriented. Systematic manual trigger point therapy, as we teach it, was developed in the early 1980s in Switzerland by Dr. Beat Dejung, MD in cooperation with a team of physiotherapists. With the manual trigger point therapy, trigger points and fascia can be treated very effectively and sustainably. The detailed knowledge of the topographic surface anatomy that is provided is put into practice by means of palpation. Students practice the various techniques of manual trigger point therapy under consistent supervision. The theoretical training includes the pathophysiology, etiology, epidemiology, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and the clinical practice of myofascial trigger points and myofascial dysfunctions and pain syndromes as well as the indications and contraindications of manual trigger point therapy. The course provides an insight into important research results in the fields of manual trigger point therapy and myofascial pain. On completion of the training, after the MT 1 (or Top 30 Combi) and the MT 2 course, participants receive the diploma "Trigger Point Therapist DGSA".

Our courses are recognized worldwide and meet the highest professional, didactic and safety standards.
