Dr. Peter Reilich

MD, MA

Dr Peter Reilich is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Munich, and is a member of the Friedrich-Baur-Institute since 1988 (part of the Department of Neurology, University of Munich), where he is dedicated to the management and research of muscular diseases. Dr Reilich is specialized in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular dysfunctions, such as with with botulinum toxins, nutritional medicine as well as palliative care. His clinical studies throughout the years have look at the underlying pathohistology and therapeutic effects in myofascial pain syndromes. This was done in close cooperation with Prof. Benedikt Schoser (MD) and Prof. Florian Heinen (MD) from Munich, Germany, Christian Gröbli, PT (Winterthur, Switzerland) and one of the pioneers in trigger point therapy and dry needling, Dr David G. Simons (MD) (Covington, USA). In addition, Dr Peter Reilich has completed postgraduate degree in health care management at the Universities of Kaiserslautern and Witten/Herdecke (Germany), with a “Master of Arts”, as well as classical acupuncture training.
