Alaa Bazaid

Alaa is a certified physiotherapist since 2007 (BSc Physical Therapy, King Saud University). As a young physiotherapist, he was a staff physiotherapist in King Abdulaziz Medical City, National Gaurd, Saudi Arabia, where he worked until he became Clinical Specialist physiotherapist. In 2019 Alaa completed the Executive Master of Bussniss Administration, Jeddah University, Saudi Arabia. His main interests are orthopedic physical therapy with a special interest in the spine dysfunctions and deformities. Alaa has been highly active in promoting the physiotherapy profession in Saudi Arabia. He was board member of Saudi Physical Therapy Association from 2016 - 2019. He own Physioshop And Torquoa Centers for Health Training, and he organized a lot of advanced physical therapy courses since 2012 in Saudi, Kuwait and Bahrain. He was one of the committee member to develop the Saudi Dry Needling Guidelines, approved by the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Physical Therapy Association. In addition, Alaa teaches post graduate courses in orthopedic manual therapy, dry needling, Kinesio taping and myofascial release in Saudi Arabia. He became a DGSA assistant instructor in 2024.
