Helena first studied French language and literature at Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), where she received her Master´s degree in 2005. For a short period, she worked as a French teacher.
She completed Master´s degree in Physiotherapy at Charles University in 2011. Since then, she has specialized in manual medicine and has attended numerous postgraduate courses, including functional musculoskeletal disorders, manual lymphatic drainage, therapy of scar tissue and visceral adhesions, visceral therapy, Fascial Manipulation/ Stecco.
She spent 10 years at a general rehabilitation clinique, treating a wide range of patients. During this time, she further developed her knowledge and practical skills not only in manual medicine, but also in the field of neurology, focusing on the rehabilitation of spastic paresis. Over the years, she also worked as a lecturer in palpation anatomy.
In 2021, she participated in the first DGSA course held in the Czech Republic.
Since 2022, she has been working at the Department of Neurology and Centre of Clinical Neuroscience, First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the General University Hospital in Prague.
